I was involved with creating a unique digital collectible for Alex Ovechkin. For context, he passed Wayne Gretzky for most goals scored in NHL history. I was tasked with creating/animating the elements that would make this extra special.

This first-ever 1-of-1 Mythic highlight from NHL Breakaway was auctioned through Heritage Auctions. As part of the NHL Breakaway project, this work stands out as one of my proudest achievements, showcasing not only my technical skills in After Effects and animation design, but also my ability to translate a cultural sports moment into a lasting digital artifact.

For this project, I worked as both a video editor and motion designer. I created the signature animation and designed the rings to pulse together in real time.

The signature gets animated in and has its own animation.

For this sequence, I handled the sound design, animated the pulsing rings and signature explosion, and created the custom explosion occurring behind the signature.
